Day Sailing Trips
If you would like to explore our fabulous Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty from the comfort of a yacht, then our skippered charter is for you.
Either sit back and enjoy the views whilst our qualified and experienced skippers sail you through the Carrick Roads, or take control; our skippers will show you the ropes and make learning to sail a smooth and easy process.
For full day charters either bring a picnic to enjoy in a secluded bay, take a water-taxi ashore in the Helford or beautiful St Mawes.
Half Day 3.5 hrs – £500
Our half day trips are either 10:00-13:30 or 14:30-18:00. We leave Mylor and then see where the wind takes us, we can head to Helford for a coffee and a quick swim or tuck round St Anthony’s lighthouse and go looking for dolphins. On board there will be tea, coffee and cakes in the morning or prosecco and scones in the afternoon. Our skipper can look after the sailing, leaving you free to relax, or you can take the wheel and our skipper will guide you..
Full Day 7 hrs – £800
A full day gives you time to do it all, start the day with pastries and coffee as we head out. We are guided by the weather on the day, some popular routes include a trip Tulvern for a paddleboard lesson heading towards Malpas, lunch on the river and then an afternoon sailing towards the Manacles. A morning sailing past Swanpool and Maenporth aiming to go ashore for lunch in Helford is always popular, in the afternoon we can potter back across to St Mawes for a swim before retuning to Mylor with a glass of bubbles.
Evenings 2.5hrs £400
The perfect end to a day, enjoy the quieter water as the other boats head home. We head out towards Falmouth, cross the estuary to St Mawes and aim to be heading home to Mylor as the sun is setting. A relatively short trip but there is still time to get involved with the sailing.
Extras -Paddle boarding
Keep the calm and tranquil mood going and go for a paddleboard. We can provide lessons or a tour if you would like to give it a go but have never been before. They are an excellent way to get access to the beaches from the boat and great diving boards on a sunny day too. For more details get in contact.
