The RYA Cruising Scheme provides a clear pathway from beginener to offshore skipper. Weather you’ve never been on on a yacht before, looking to lead a crew, or are looking to charter independently the RYA scheme will help you achieve your goals.

Practical Sailing Courses

RYA practical courses offer a clear pathway from first stepping onboard a yacht through to be a safe and confident skipper. Practical courses are punctuated with shore based learning and sailing time.

Shore Based Courses

The RYA Shore based courses cover everything from First Aid, navigation, VHF Licencing to meteorology and pilotage plans.
